This month has had it’s share of incredible singles, and I’d like to display the best ones here.
Beauty Sleep – Jane Remover
Everything aside, you have to admire their output. Beauty Sleep feels like a culmination of everything Jane has done so far and it’s gorgeous.
★★★★★
carmen – isobel
isobel’s upcoming album, ‘scarlet,’ has been known about for nearly a year now. The rollout has been a slow burn, but exciting nonetheless. carmen is the culmination of this, and one of her most beautiful songs yet.
★★★★★
BLACKPINK YZY – Lucy Bedroque
Released as a SoundCloud-only single, it’ll likely a remain a deep cut for the time being, though it deserves the world.
★★★★★
On Video – Phoebe Bridgers
Is she trying to kill us?
★★★★★
Bass Persuades – Miley Cyrus
Miley’s return to the spotlight these last few years has come with what’s quite easily the best music of her career.
★★★★☆
crank 2 – Slayyyter
Even if at some points it takes too much from its successor, crank 2 is perfectly capable of standing on its own.
★★★★☆
Vámonos de aquí – weed420
You can still be early to the party with this Latin Electronic collective, I’d recommend this song above all others here just for that.
★★★★☆
KickAss (Pull Up Pls) – Che & Nettspend
You’ll likely have at least one person try to tell you this doesn’t kick ass, don’t listen to them.
